The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted table a decision on a special exception request from Nancy Haynie Fisher and Hexagon Energy regarding the Sandale Solar project. According to the Rappahannock Record the proposed 3-megawatt project would be built off Old Salem Road near Pitmans Corner. Hexagon representative says the project will generate over $1.1 million in direct spending and create 20 construction jobs plus 2 full-time positions once the project is operational.
