The Town of Montross and Westmorland County are partnering to create a neighborhood watch program. Police tell Westmoreland News the goal is to instill a greater sense of security and reduce the fear of crime, putting the term “neighbor” back into “neighborhood.” The program gives residents tips and tricks to make homes and neighborhoods more secure plus trains on how to recognize and report suspicious activity. The program’s final details are being worked out.
