The Virginia Department of Health issues new COVID-19 quarantine guidance moving away from recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevenrtion. Officials say those experiencing symptoms should now quarantine while before quarantine was recommended if they recovered from a positive case within the last six months or if they are up to date on their vaccines. The CDC defines the post-infection immunity period as 90 days.
