Virginia Colleges Urged Not To Raise Tuition

The Youngkin administration is urging Virginia colleges that plan to raise the cost of tuition to reverse their decisions. According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch Secretary of Education Aimee Guidera called college presidents throughout the Commonwealth asking them to reconsider. 10 of the 15 public four-year colleges plan to raise tuition between 3% and 4.7%. Christopher Newport University is still determining if tuition will be raised.
