The USDA Food and Nutrition Service announced the release of a waiver extension so providers in the Virginia Department of Health’s Child and Adult Care Food Program can continue to meet the nutritional needs of participants as a result of the pandemic. The program provides reimbursements to providers who offer for nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults. The waivers are now in in effect through June 30, 2023
