Virginia Motor Speedway officials were forced to cancel the Gloucester S.T.A.R. Kids Night event scheduled for Saturday. Officials tell Speedway Digest that the high probability of rain was behind the decision and they didn’t want fans and competitors making a long trip only to find the event was canceled at the last minute. S.T.A.R. Kids Night at the Races is when the children from the Gloucester S.T.A.R. program visit for a night of dirt track racing.
