Governor Glenn Youngkin sends 38 budget amendments to the General Assembly for their review and approval. The changes focus on expanding opportunities for education, keeping communities safe and making Virginia the best state for business. Youngkin is continuing to call for a 3-month gas tax suspension that would begin July 1. He is also asking lawmakers to craft legislation for keeping state and federal judges safe in the wake of an assassination attempt on a Supreme Court Justice.
