There may end up being a gas tax moratorium in Virginia after all. According to the Washington Post Gov. Glenn Youngkin is considering amending the recently-passed 2-year budget to include the tax suspension which was rejected by the GA during budget negotiations. Youngkin had urged the GA to halt a scheduled gas tax increase and to grant a five-month gas-tax holiday. House Appropriations Committee Chairman Barry D. Knight is urging Youngkin to not make any budget amendments.
