Fire destroys nearly an entire block of Prince St. in Tappahannock on Friday afternoon. Witnesses tell 12 News an art gallery, real estate office, beauty parlor, and cafe were among the businesses destroyed. According to Tappahannock- Essex Fire Chief Paul Richardson the fire started in the back side of a business but they still don’t know the exact cause. No injuries were reported but several firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion.
