When the Gloucester Board of Supervisors meets Tuesday it will vote on amending the county zoning map to reclassify acreage in the Gloucester Point River Club at the Twin Island neighborhood. According to the Gazette-Journal a developer had planned to build 54 condominiums on the 2.62 acre property but the current owner now wants to build around 40 townhomes which requires the zoning change. Several residents spoke against the rezoning at an earlier public hearing.
