Officials with the Gloucester-Mathews Habitat for Humanity ReStore want the public to know they are open for business despite rumors to the contrary. Board President Mike Davis tells the Gazette-Journal he and others in the organization have discovered that many in the county have been told the ReStore is closed. The store moved in January 2021 to its current location in Hayes. Davis said they’ve placed signs in front of other business and have continued to be active in social media.
