More than 300 Virginia government employees have resigned after a change in the Commonwealth’s telework policy took effect July 5. According to 8 News most of those are Department of Transportation workers. The new policy allows telework options where appropriate. Telework became the norm with the pandemic but this May Gov. Glenn Youngin announce the new policy aiming to restore an office-centric environment which a spokesman says fosters collaboration and teamwork and provides an even greater level of service.
