A Kilmarnock public works employee receives an award from Mayor Mae Umphlett and the Town Council for helping a woman find a purse misplaced during a recent concert at Town Centre Park. Public works crew lead Antwon Butler found the purse and gave it to a Kilmarnock police officer who made sure it was returned to the woman. He received a plaque with a story from the Northumberland Echo on his good deed.
