The Lancaster County school board selects VMDO Architects of Charlottesville to begin negotiations on the design of a proposed new middle/high school complex on Irvington Road at Hills Quarter. According to the Rappahannock Record the selection was unanimously approved. In March, the board authorized a request for proposals which resulted in 2 companies chosen to make presentations earlier this month. The board is setting a goal to open the new combined middle/high school in August 2025.
