Shelli Lipton was welcomed as the new principal of Northumberland Middle School during last Monday’s school board meeting. According to the Rappahannock Record Lipton gave her first principal’s report announcing there were 38 students enrolled for session one of summer school and they are planning lessons for session two. Lipton said she is very excited to begin the school year and get to know the students, their families and staff at Northumberland.
