The Merry Point Ferry in Lancaster County returned to service on Thursday after repairs were completed to a broken guide cable. The Virginia Department of Transportation expedited delivery of a replacement cable to restore ferry service which was initially suspended last Friday. The hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. There is no service on Sundays or Mondays.
