The Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a companion animal in the Sherwood Forest area The animal was shot multiple times by a BB gun. The animal was a white and brown cat and was known by residents living in the neighborhood. The Sheriffs Office is asking those in the Sherwood Forest area who know what happened to call them at the non-emergency number.
