If you’re looking to buy a used car you probably wouldn’t think to check with the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office bu lately there’s been a lot of car sales. According to the Northumberland Echo the department has sold more than $62,000 worth of decommissioned police vehicles. The vehicles are posted at the website GovDeals which allows government and educational agencies to sell their vehicles to the public. The vehicle sales proceeds go to purchase new vehicles.
