The Virginia Society of Sons of the American Revolution will commemorate the 246th anniversary of the Battle of Cricket Hill at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Morningstar Marina on Mill Point Road in Hudgins. According to the Gazette-Journal the event includes a keynote address by Patrick Hannum, a longtime writer and ontributor to the Journal of the American Revolution. There will also be a VASSAR Color Guard contingent in American Revolutionary War uniform and a wreath-laying ceremony. The public is invited to attend.
