VCU Health Tappahannock Hospital appoints Dr. Shadi Ghadermarzi as the new Medical Director of its Hospitalist Team. Dr. Ghadermarzi will serve as a liaison between hospital-based physicians, nursing staff and leadership. She joined VCU Health Tappahannock last year. Hospitalists are doctors who provide care to patients in the hospital. They also coordinate the care for other specialists, services and treatments for patients. Dr. Ghadermarzi practices at VCU Medical Center as well as Tappahannock Hospital.
