Tappahannock Police are investigating a burglary at the Chill Stop/CITGO on Church Lane sometime between 10 p.m. on July 10 and 4:30 a.m. on July 11. Officers discovered that the suspect or suspects gained entry through the door and removed several items including a quantity of cash. Investigators say since the store is in close proximity to route 17 they are hoping someone who may have been driving by possibly saw someone in the area.
