Discussions are renewed aabout making an Urbanna inetsection a 4-way stop. According to the Southside Sentinel the town council voted unanimously to ask DOT officials if the intersection of Virginia Street and Cross Street needs that revised traffic control. Most people driving east on Virginia Street turn right onto Cross Street and drivers waiting at the stop sign on Cross Street often assume that vehicles approaching the intersection will turn right. This has led to near collisions.
