Blown Fuse Knocks Out Power In Westmoreland County

It was a blown fuse protecting critical equipment that knocked out power Saturday morning to around 100 Northern Neck Electric Cooperative members in Westmoreland County. That’s according to the coop’s Public Relations Manager Kyle Allwine whp says the outage was originally to have reported to affect nearly 5 times as many members but an investigation confirmed the lower affected member count. Allwine says power was out for around 2 hours.
