National Honey Bee Day is this Saturday and Brent and Becky’s Bulbs in Ware Neck will be celebrating from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. According to the Gazette-Journal there will be demonstrations and information provided by the Colonial Beekeepers Association including a presentation on how honey is extracted from the comb. There will be kids’ activities and honey tastings plus local honey and other products from the hive are available for purchase.
