Richmond County Public Schools superintendent Dr. Trey Davis says they’ve been working throughout the summer to insure safety and security for the 2022-23 school year. According to News on the Neck the division worked with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a thorough safety review of the buildings and deficiencies were addressed. Staff security training sessions were also conducted. A second school resource officer is added to eliminte sharing a single officer between buildings.
