The State Corporation Commission announced it will review the performance guarantee it implemented for the Dominion Energy’s large offshore wind project. The guarantee was included in the SCC’s project approval to ensure Dominion’s customers don’t have to pay for replacement energy if the project doesn’t generate electricity at the level expected. According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch that approval is now suspended pending the performance guarantee review.
