Virginia Hits 2M Recorded COVID-19 Cases

The Virginia Department of Health reports the two-millionth COVID-19 case since the beginning of the pandemic was recorded on Tuesday. Officials say the case counts are likely higher because of at-home testing not reported and those who chose to not test. Since reporting began in March of 2020 over 21,000 Virginians have died due to the coronavirus. At least 82 percent have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
