Gloucester resident Jay White is named executive director of the Tri River Alcohol Safety Action Program Policy Review Board. According to the Gazette-Journal White previously served as Deputy Director of Training as well as other positions with the United States Coast Guard in Yorktown. The program’s goal is to improve highway safety by decreasing the incidence of driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs, leading to the reduction of alcohol- and drug-related fatalities and crashes.
