The Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society and African-American Genealogical and Historical Society Hampton Roads are holding a virtual meeting on Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. According to the Southside Sentinel the meeting will feature a talk by Dr. Shelley Viola Murphy entitled, “An Introduction to International African American Museum’s Center for Family History.” The Museum in Charleston, S.C., is scheduled to open on Jan. 23, 2023.
