Two Virginia State Trooper vehicles are involved in a collision as officers were responding to a Northumberland County call that turned out to be a false alarm. According to the Northumberland Echo the collision happened Monday on Rt. 360 in Richmond County just east of Threeway Rd. from pooling water caused by a heavy downpour. One trooper was hospitalized for what were called serious but non-life threatening injuries. The other trooper was unhurt.
