The Virginia Department of Transportation is evaluating the Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors’ request to restrict heavy truck traffic on Rosa Bran Road and a portion of Skipjack Road. According to Westmoreland News the board passed a resolution to ask the DOT for an alternate truck route at a meeting in August. Once the evaluation is done the DOT will decide on approving the request and then the board can then vote to implement it.
