VFB Issues Warning About Slow Moving Equipment

The Virginia Farm Bureau reminds drivers to be aware of more slow-moving farm equipment on roadways. Harvests for Virginia-grown corn, cotton, peanuts and soybeans are expected to increase from last year’s totals so officials say there will be more equipment out this year. Virginia law requires vehicles that travel slower than 25 mph to be equipped with rear-mounted, triangular slow-moving vehicle signs when driven on public roads.
