The winner of this year’s Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show was in Essex County on Thursday. According to WTVR the bloodhound named Trumoet was at the Essex County Museum and Historical Society for a fundraiser to benefit the Tappahannock-Essex Volunteer Fire Department. Trumpet is the first bloodhound in the dog show’s 146 year history to take home the coveted title of “Best in Show”.
