2 people died in a crash Tuesday on Buckley Hall Road in Mathews County. State Police say it happened about a mile east of Windsor Road when the driver of a SUV crossed the center line of the road and struck another SUV. The drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles and both were pronounced dead at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester. Investigators say alcohol or speed did not appear to be factors in the crash.
