The Colonial Beach Town Council votes to eliminate its longtime Tourism Advisory Council. According to News on the Neck the Council was created in 1993 as a 7-member committee, growing to nine members before shrinking down to only three just before 2020. The Tourism Council became inactive when the pandemic hit and there haven’t been enough members to constitute a quorum. The Town Council rescinded the initial resolution that created the committee.
