The first woman deputy superintendent in Virginia State Police history announced she is retiring. Lieutenant Colonel Tracy S. Russillo was with VSP for over 3 decades and was promoted to deputy superintendent in 2016. Russillo oversaw all three VSP Bureaus – Bureau of Administrative and Support Services, Bureau of Field Operations and Bureau of Criminal Investigation as well as the Office of Internal Affairs and Executive Protective Unit.
