White Stone Town Council Seeks Zoning Change

The White Stone Town Council is asking the town planning commission to review permitted uses in the commercial zone. According to the Southside Sentinel the council would like to add two-family dwellings as a permitted use in the commercial zone so second story apartments planned for the business district will be allowed. Two-family dwellings are currently permitted only in residential zoning areas. Public hearings will take place before any changes are voted on.
