The Essex County Museum and Historical Society holds its Fall Oyster Roast and Courtyard Party on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in and around the museum on Water Lane in Tappahannock. The Gazette-Journal reports the museum’s new outdoor space will have food, beer and wine plus live music by the Rockfish Band. Advance purchase tickets are $20 per person, $30 per couple or $40 per family.
