Middlesex County Public Schools will be doubling its electric school bus fleet when it takes delivery of 2 more vehicles this month. Director of operations and transportatiom Dustin Harris tells School Transportation News the division decided to look at getting electric buses after it converted 3 school buildings to solar power. The first 2 buses arrived in January 2021. Harris says he’s been by contacted by other school officials to learn about how they can obtain electric buses.
