Construction of a new Montross Town Park could begin soon according to a presentation made recently to the town council. News on the Neck reports contracts went out for the playground equipment, pavilions, and landscaping at the site between the old courthouse and the Montross branch of the Rappahannock Regional Library. Materials for the park’s 2 pavillions is being delivered this month with the playground equipment to arrive next month.
