The Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society invites you to a virtual meeting on Sunday with a talk by George Washington University’s Phillip Troutman entitled, “Middle Passages: Enslaved Migration to, within, and out of Virginia, 1619-1865”. The talk will start with an overview of the slave market, how its networks spidered across the colony and then the state, and what that meant for families and individuals in slavery. The virtual meeting begins at 11:00 a.m.
