WHS Finishing Touch Work Continues

Work is continuing on the final construction tasks at the new Westmoreland High School which opened in August. Superintendent Dr. Michael Perry tells Westmoreland News the school’s metal detectors are now operational and crews are completing implementing keyless entry at all exterior doors. Some of the work on the athletic area including seeding the football field won’t be done until spring. Dr. Perry says the division needs to obtain funding to build the grandstands fencing lights, scoreboards and a concession stand.
