Animal welfare organization Garfield’s Rescue asks the community to remember the needs of the Northern Neck homeless cats at Christmastime. Food and cat supply donation tubs are located in Kilmarnock at Chesapeake Bank, Lancaster By the Bay Chamber of Commerce office, Barbour Printing, and at Atlantic Union Bank in Burgess. You can donate bagged and canned cat food, absorbent liner pads, cat toys, beds and receiving blankets.
