2 parks in Kilmarnock will be getting new and improved playground equipment. The Rappahannock Record reports the Town Council accepted a nearly $50,000 bid from Cunningham Recreation with the equipment to arrive by next spring. Joe Curry Park will receive three new slides, a bubble climbing wall, pod rocker, chain net, single walk beam, crawl in double bubble, wall and tree climbers and a zip slide. A spinner will be added to Town Centre Park.
