The Lancaster County School Board takes another step toward awarding a contract for building its new middle and high school. The Rappahannock Record reports that step was a public hearing held last month and only one person spoke expressing concerns that no details have been shared about the design, specifically the auditorium/ theater. The Board now has to wait until later this month before it can sign the proposed comprehensive agreement with contractor Branch Builds. A copy of the proposed agreement is at lcs.k12.va.us.
