Mathews County residents now have until February 6 to pay their personal property taxes. The Gazette-Journal reports the
Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to extenbd the deadline after a public hearing. The board also voted not to do away with the $25 license fee assessed annually on all vehicle owners. Instead the board will conmsider increasing the amount of personal property tax relief for this year whenm it meets later this month.
