The White Stone Town Council received a sidewalk improvement project update at its December 1 meeting. The Rappahannock Record reports the town received a draft from Resource International of Ashland to extend the sidewalk along Rappahannock Drive from the bump out near the town office past Chesapeake Doughnut Company and wind around on Irvington Road, stopping near The Lancaster Players’ Playhouse. The draft now needs approval from the Virginia Department of Transportation.
