The American Lung Association released its annual State of Tobacco Control Report from its study which evaluates how state and local governments help prevent people from picking up the tobacco habit or continuing. Virginia received “F” grades in 4 of the study’s 5 categories including “Funding for State Tobacco Prevention Programs” and “Strength of Smokefree Workplace Laws”.
