Boat With Deltaville Ties Damahed By Drunk Driver

A skipjack with ties to Deltaville sustains significant damage when a pickup truck landed on top of it. The Southside Sentinel reports it happened last month at Dogwood Harbor on Tilghman Island in Maryland where the boar was moored. The Rebecca T. Ruark skipjack is on the National Historic Landmark list and was rebuilt in Deltaville during the mid-1980s. The owner says they will repair the vessel. The pickup driver is charged with DWI.
