State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened last Monday in Northumberland County. A SUV driven by Kenneth Antony Thomas of Callao was going westbound on Valley Dr. near Lively Hope Rd. when the vehicle ran off the road to the left, struck a ditch, overcorrected, and overturned. Thomas was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene. Investigators say alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash.
